ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When a user attempts to load the Timesheet Approval page when approving as Resource Manager, the page hangs for 10 minutes (long-running script). Then the progress bar starts rolling, but nothing else happens.

In addition, the P6WebAccess.html log file contains an error similar to the following:

WARN com.primavera.bo.base.CalculateEngineImpl - DBEngine.executeSelect: {(long SELECT query)} null
Caused by: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: Socket read timed out
com.primavera.infr.db.DBCloserUtils - SQL Exception attempting to close a Connection
com.primavera.infr.db.ConnectionRecycledException: Connection has been recycled. Database <database name>  Pool PMR

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The Timesheet Approval page should load data without significant delay.

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. Log in to P6 Web.
  2. Click Dashboards > Timesheet Approval and open Timesheet Approval Manager.
  3. Change the Approving as: value from Project manager  to Resource Manager.
  4. Observe reported behavior.
