TO DO RELATED CHARS FOR SYNC REQUESTS ARE NOT BEING CREATED
(Doc ID 2274138.1)
Last updated on MAY 19, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version 2.7.0.3.0 to 2.9.0.1.1 [Release 2.7 to 2.9]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When a correction read notification is sent from Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) to Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CCB) and the "MDM Corrected Read" Off Cycle Bill Generator is created, a To Do entry may be created in one of the following four To Do Types:
C1-CORRD - Corrected Read Notification
C1-CORER - Corrected Read Notification In Error
C1-CRDBS - Corrected Read with Freezable Bill Segment
C1-CRDTO - Corrected Read Notification Time Out
Since algorithm type TDCR-CHAR does not create entity related characteristics to the Off Cycle Bill Generator (OCBG) entity, the 'X Outstanding To Do" alert is not being displayed in the context Account's dashboard.
If a user is navigating to the Account for other business reasons, not via the OCBG related To Do, since the alert is not displaying in the dashboard the user has no knowledge that a Corrected Read Notification is in play.
