Getting Blank Screen After Logging into OFSAA 8.0.0.0 Application Page for New OFSAA 8 Installation

Symptoms
On OFSAA 8.0.0, getting blank screen after logging in to OFSAA 8.0.0.0 Application page .
The following error appears in the Websphere SystemOut.log:

No errors are found in the FSDF 8 installation log files.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Have configured a OFSAA FSDF 8.0.0.0 pack on Websphere 8.5.5.9 using JDK 1.8(jdk1.8.0_121).
Completed the installation and deployment of the ear file in Websphere. Post that when logging into the OFSAAI application page (using sysadmn) there is a blank screen.
Were able to reset the sysadmin password successfully after the first login.
Initially did the same setup of OFSAA FSDF 8.0.0.0 pack on Websphere 8.5.5.9 using JDK 1.7 and got similar blank screen.
