Symptoms

When trying to create a new expression in OFSAA, application displays the following error message:

"Default Folder Name or Access Type not set in Application Preferences".

 

This occurs especially to the newly created users but also to other users which failed in setting the appropriate application preferences.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced by following the next steps:

1. Login to OFSAA GUI
2. Select FTP from the application drop-down on the top left section.
3. Go to Common Object Maintenance -> Expressions menu, on the navigation panel.
4. In the Expressions section of the right-hand side of the screen, click the "Add" button for creating a new expression.
5. The error pop-up will be displayed.
