Symptoms

If a Multispeak adapter is configured to use a Foreign JNDI Provider, and you set the Provider URL (Configuration/General tab) to use an SSL enabled port address, the adapter gives an error

<Mar 2, 2017 11:32:20 AM EST> javax.ejb.EJBException: EJB Exception: : java.lang.RuntimeException: javax.naming.CommunicationException: t3s://nmsserver2.mycompany.com:7004: [RJVM:000575]Destination 10.45.52.44, 7004 unreachable.; nested exception is:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: General SSLEngine problem; [RJVM:000576]No available router to destination.; nested exception is:
java.rmi.ConnectException: [RJVM:000576]No available router to destination. [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: t3s://nmsserver2.mycompany.com:7004: [RJVM:000575]Destination xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, 7004 unreachable.; nested exception is:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: General SSLEngine problem; [RJVM:000576]No available router to destination.; nested exception is:
java.rmi.ConnectException: [RJVM:000576]No available router to destination.]

The adapter works fine if you use the non-SSL listen port back to the referenced managed server.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. When configuring a foreign jndi provider for a multispeak adapter in the weblogic console ,set the Provider URL (Configuration/General tab) to use a SSL enabled port address,
2. Check the adapter log
