Symptoms
Seeing IMAP processes with high memory usage; not able to do telnet to 143 IMAP port.
Here we see CPU 40.3% in user, 8.9% in system. We also see that there are a lot of imapd processes that are using a high amount of memory; the sizes are between 9 to 23 gigs in virtual memory (and about 1.6 to 8.1% of physical memory).
