Allocations Fail Immediately with 'ORA-01017: invalid username/password' After Atomic/Config Name Change

Symptoms
In Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT) 8.0, after manually changing the atomic and config schema names by exporting them and importing into new schema names, when users try to run Allocations, they fail immediately. There are no messages output to the ofspa.xxxxxx.log in $FIC_DB_HOME/log/FusionApps. There are no errors in the agent log files in $FIC_DB_HOME/log. The following error exists in the nohup.out from $FIC_DB_HOME/bin:
Sucssefully Connected to Config schema.
Error(Oracle Financial Services Application error) (203105) Oracle drv_oci error:
OCI Function: [0] - olon(), orlon()
Oracle Error: [1017] - ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
Driver Function: drv_oci::Connect()
MB(AttachDB()) Error attaching to database: ofsaadb
FATAL : Failed Connecting to Atomic Schema.
The error appears to prevent the Allocations from running.
