When deploying a new version of a cartridge with custom automation plug-ins , the following error appears and deployment is failing.

java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: /om/SendEmail : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0

followed by error :

SQLExceptionTransaction BEA1 not active anymore. tx status = Marked rollback
