(Doc ID 2308818.1)
Last updated on MARCH 28, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management(BRM), 7.5.0.17.0 version, consider a scenario where the user is upgrading the system from BRM 7.4 to 7.5 PS17.
During the upgrade process, while installing 7.5 MPS1, it is mentioned in the patchset install document (that is delivered with the patch set) that for rolling back the database, the suggestion is to create a backup of the databases and to restore in case of rollback.
Is there any other alternative? Anything like rollback scripts for database, which could be executed to undo the 7.5 modifications with no data loss or data integrity issues?
