Issue With Proration Of PEAK Registers. (Doc ID 2320646.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 27, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Service Order Management - Version 2.1.0.3 to 2.1.0.3 [Release 2.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ProrateMeasurementAlgComp_Impl will just either raised a “to do” or use found measurement when the device configuration has peak register.

When proration is required but there is a peak register in the device configuration, CheckForMeasurementsAndProrateAlgComp algorithm will either:

  1. Raised a to do “Proration is not allowed for device configuration XXXXXXXXX”
  2. Use the found measurement and will not perform proration.

This is not correct because peak reads are only received on the day of the peak. It means that most of the time, SOM will find a KWH read that can be used for proration but not for KW. So, this algorithm should consider skipping proration for KW and continue proration of KWH instead of raising an error.
