Prorate Measurement Completion Event IMD Processing Failed (Doc ID 2333702.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 27, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management - Version 2.1.0.3 to 2.2.0.1.0 [Release 2.1 to 2.2]
Oracle Utilities Service Order Management - Version 2.1.0.3 to 2.2.0.1.0 [Release 2.1 to 2.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If the move in/out date (i.e. service date/Usage Subscription date) is AFTER the actual read date, the quantity that is being used in the manual scalar IMD created by the Prorate Measurement Completion Event is the prorated (or calculated/estimated) consumption instead of the DIFFERENCE between this prorated value and the consumption on this actual read date.

Steps to Recreate

  1. Using scalar IMD transactions, create measurements for 2 date/times.
  2. Using the UI, create a Prorate Measurement Completion Event in Pending state for a Subtractive Scalar MC such that the service date/time is AFTER the date/time of the last measurement.
  3. Click on Execute button.
