CMT does not Support Two Different Account Hierarchy for the Same Service Account
(Doc ID 2341903.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 24, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management 7.5.0 patchset 15, when usingConversion Manager Tool (CMT) in the following scenario:
- There are three accounts with hierarchy as below:
Customer Account: HIJKLMN (POID:29071184)
Billing Account : ABCDEFG (POID:29067712)
Child Account : PQRSTUV (POID:29074914) - The sample input flist for PCM_OP_CUST_COMMIT_CUSTOMER opcode would look like below :
0 PIN_FLD_POID POID [0] 0.0.0.1 /plan -1 0
..
0 PIN_FLD_GROUP_INFO SUBSTRUCT [0] allocated 20, used 1
1 PIN_FLD_PARENT POID [0] 0.0.0.1 /account 29071184 0 --> ##Pointing to Customer Account HIJKLMN
..
0 PIN_FLD_ACCTINFO ARRAY [0] allocated 20, used 6
1 PIN_FLD_ACCOUNT_NO STR [0] "PQRSTUV" ------>##Child Account Number
..
0 PIN_FLD_BILLINFO ARRAY [0] allocated 20, used 7
1 PIN_FLD_POID POID [0] 0.0.0.1 /billinfo -1 0
1 PIN_FLD_PARENT_BILLINFO_OBJ POID [0] 0.0.0.1 /billinfo 29066176 0 --> ##information of Billing Account: ABCDEFG
1 PIN_FLD_AR_BILLINFO_OBJ POID [0] 0.0.0.1 /billinfo 29066176 0 --> ##information of Billing Account: ABCDEFG - Currently, using CMT, one can only tag "ActSbsc id="12345" parenRef="56789" " which represents billing hierarchy i.e., by default tags PARENT as Billing account "ABCDEFG" in Account Hierarchy by getting reference from <parenRef>.
- Hence the current behavior by populating parenRef and payParenRef tag can be seen as below :
So the question is whether there is any tag where one can pass the group parent information in the CMT input XML similar to what is passed in COMMIT_CUSTOMER opcode, that is, there is a need to have a link only to fulfill Account Hierarchy, where its PARENT_BILLINFO_OBJ_ID0 and AR_BILLINFO_OBJ_ID0 will be different.
