Goal
Our front-end MX MTAs are using bypass mode for messages coming in from external sites in order to preserve messages for DKIM signature validation. We have the keyword 'wrapsmtplonglines' option enabled resulting in improperly long lines getting wrapped and causing body hash validation to fail. We had assumed that the bypass mode would disable this type of fix-up, but now we see that it's controlled separately. We want to remove that keyword so that long lines aren't wrapped, to be sent to the milter, so that DKIM validation doesn't fail. Are there any negative side effects of this change?
