Symptoms

ISSUE:

Oracle Clinical 5.2 fails with the error message: "Abnormal Program Termination"
The .err log file reports the error:

Exception java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file occurred..
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:620)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:465)
