New Shifts Not Displayed And Active Crew Shifts With Appointments Are Disappearing From CDI At The End Of Day

Symptoms

Active Crew Shifts with Appointments are disappearing from CDI at the End of Day

The shifts disappear from the Gantt chart, seemingly at random, occasionally reappearing sometime later. Those same shifts fail to display when viewed on the Crew Shift Schedule Gantt chart.

The issue was tracked to a very specific scenario:
- Crew shift contains less work than would otherwise fit (e.g. 5 hours of work on a 8 hour shift)
- The Crew starts the shift 'late'
- Work is assigned such that it goes beyond the 'planned end' time of the shift.

Also, newly created shifts are not displayed on the Gantt at random.  Logout/Login has no impact on the issue.
