Can a Timesheet's Interval Be Changed from "By Reporting Period" to "Daily", or Vice Versa, after it has been set to Active? (Doc ID 2365262.1)

Goal

Is there a way to reset a timesheet's interval, for example from By reporting period to Daily, after it has been created and set to Active?  Can a timesheet be reset to Not Started in order to accomplish this?
