Have Logging Permissions Set To 640 By Default (Doc ID 2366586.1)

Goal

On both the mux and server we'd like a way, apart from running scripts, to ensure that when logs rotate they get permissions set at 640.
We need this for our Splunk logging to work correctly.

We currently have cron jobs that update the permissions, but would rather have the server set these automatically (on log rotations), to be what we require.
We don't really want the product to specify exactly 0640.
Instead, we would rather a config option, for example, like Messaging Server has a "filemode" option, which allows us to specify the permissions we want set on the log files.

Is this something that could be considered and implemented within the product?
