REIMEDIINJECTOR Batch Fails With an Error Message Saying "Document Date (In Format YYYYMMDD)" (Doc ID 2402193.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 25, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Invoice Matching - Version 16.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

If INVC_HEAD.DUE_DATE is equal to VDATE then REIMEDIINJECTOR batch fails with error message saying "Document date (In format YYYYMMDD)" in IM_INJECT_DOC_ERROR.ERROR_CONTEXT.

Steps to Recreate:
1. Create an Return To Vendor(RTV) and ship it. It creates a credit note request and inserts record into INVC_HEAD table.
2. Run edidlinv.pc batch to get credit note request file on same VDATE.
3. Run REIMEDIINJECTOR batch on same date ( INVC_HEAD.DUE_DATE = VDATE) to upload the file which is created in point 2.
4. REIMEDIINJECTOR batch should run without error saying "Document date (In format YYYYMMDD)" in IM_INJECT_DOC_ERROR.ERROR_CONTEXT.

Note: Fix covers all of the possible document type such as MRCHI, CREDIT NOTES, DEBIT MEMO,CREDIT MEMO.
