Symptoms
When trying to connect two environments with OFSAA PFT 8.0.5 installed (i.e. providing Environment 1 details in Environment 2 UI), using Object Migration from the User Interface (UI), below error is encountered while saving details.
Same connection string is being used in DynamicServices.xml and other files, the connection string is certain to be valid.
ERROR
14911 - JDBC Connection String is invalid.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps while creating a Source Configuration for Object Migration
1. Go to Administration
2. Go to Utilities > Object Migration
3. Click on the Configuration button
4. Enter Configuration information
5. Click the Validate button
