Need to Download Jnlp File Every Time When Launching AutoVue for Agile PLM from Chrome to View File (Doc ID 2447775.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior

User has to download jnlp every time to view a file with AutoVue for Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) when using Chrome

Expected Behavior

jnlp file to be opened by application automatically when attempting to view a file with AutoVue for Agile PLM when using Chrome

 

Steps

  1. Log into Agile Web Client using Chrome
  2. Search and open an item with attachment
  3. Go to Attachment tab, select the file and View
  4. Notice that AgileAutovue.jnlp file name showing on the bottom left corner of the browser window.
  5. Click and select "Show in folder"
  6. See jnlp file is saved under User > {username} > Downloads
  7. Go back to AgileAutovue.jnlp file name showing on the bottom left corner of the browser window, click and select "Open"
  8. See Java launches and AutoVue for Agile PLM window is opened
