ExecuteSystemCommand Actions Not Running Custom Scripts (Doc ID 2452169.1)

Symptoms


Customer has a button defined in $NMS_CONFIG/jconfig/ops/model_management/xml/ModelManagement.xml

When an operator presses the button, nothing happens.  The script does not get run.

 

A check of the $CES_LOG_DIR/corbagateway.*.log confirmed that there was an error:

/opt/nms/bin/PROJECT_top_val.sh: Permission denied



Changes

The script, PROJECT_topval_report.ces, in both $NMS_HOME/bin and $NMS_CONFIG/bin had permissions of "rw-------" (600)
