This document summarizes the details related to IPv6 support for ASAP.
Scope
This document summarizes the below details related to IPv6 support for ASAP
- The ASAP installation process does not support an IPv6 address natively, hence a primary IPv4 address is required during installation. The IPv4 address will be used for core ASAP components.
- Steps to Configure WebLogic to use IPv4 instead of IPv6 Listen Address during ASAP installation are described.
- The Java Network Element Processor (JNEP) component of ASAP can communicate with IPv6 network elements.
- North bound applications (Eg : OSM) can use IPv6 address to communicate with ASAP via JSRP (OSS/J or Webservice)
