X11 DISPLAY error messages in NI logs while opening a scan (Doc ID 2462544.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 23, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Integrity - Version 7.3.6.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When using the Network Integrity UI to launch a scan the errors below could be seen in the logs.  When the scans are launched X11 is needed to display the pop-up.

This solution will work when the following errors logs are seen.

Example 1

javax.servlet.ServletException: java.awt.AWTError: Can't connect to X11 window server using 'localhost:10.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable.
