X11 Error Messages In NI 7.3.5 Managed Server Log While Opening A Scan. (Doc ID 2462544.1)

Goal

For normal NI startup we do not currently set the DISPLAY environment variable as no GUI is being displayed.  While executing a scan we are getting java exception errors that indicate a problem with the X11 display variable.

E.g:


Is it required to have this value set prior to managed server startup? Or do one need to add the "-Djava.awt.headless=true" option to the NI managed server startup file?
