Symptoms
An errant update to the SCADA_MEASUREMENTS_ST table resulted in nearly all rows being removed. The SCADA_MEASUREMENTS_ST table was reduced from thousands to 2 rows by mistake and
the "UpdateDDS -recacheMeasures" was issued.
Result of this was that almost all of the entries in the DIGITAL_MEASUREMENTS table were removed.
This meant that even if a new updated set of data was passed into SCADA_MEASUREMENTS_ST, the QUALITY values would not necessarily be accurate, as those values are maintained in the table.
Due to this issue, the process has been to manually reintroduce the inhibit based on a backup of the DIGITAL_MEASUREMENTS table, but it is not clear what else should be checked.
Is there an alternative process that would be recommended?
