On : 1.6.1 version

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
On Windows 2008 R2, when July 2018 Microsoft Windows Security Patching was applied, some functionality stopped working in Oracle Utilities Energy Information Platform web pages.

For example, the ability to approve Usage Exceptions in Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management 1.6 stopped working. There have been other examples of some web pages not responding appropriately after applying these patches.  When the security patches in total are removed from the application server, the software began working normally again.

The specific patches which led to this behavior are KB4338818 and KB4022206 .

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

It is expected that servers can be kept up to date with Microsoft Windows Security patches without losing functionality in the MDM software.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply July Microsoft Windows Security Patches
2. Attempt to approve a Usage Exception from MDM
3. The Usage Exception approval did not go through

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot continue to work normally within MDM while keeping up to date with the Microsoft Security Patches.
