Purpose

While upgrading to later versions of UIM, customers are likely to encounter situations where they have to prepare a fallback plan or actually have to execute fallback plan due to upgraded environment not meeting expectations.

This document describes a simplified procedure how one can downgrade to previous version of UIM Software including the platform and Data, when upgrade objectives are not met.

Scope

This document is intended for UIM Architects, Administrators, Developers, Customer Support and Testers.

The reader should be familiar with UIM Installation and Operation, Oracle database and Oracle WebLogic.
