USSD And IVR Date Presentation To Subscriber In System Timezone (Doc ID 2484535.1)

Last updated on JUNE 09, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 6.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC) it is possible to generate Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) variable notifications for subscribers.

If any date is used as part of those notification, the timezone is derived from the Service Logic Controller's (SLC) local timezone (typically the acs_oper user, which often also matches the Solaris/unix default timezone).

There is no possibility to change the timezone of those notification to be different, in case the subscriber is in another timezone.
