Goal

This document provides some tips on diagnosing Viewer Search queries and the results. It does not cover how to create custom searches.

Most viewer searches are driven by a database query that returns with results that are then used to focus the viewer on a particular location. Because the search is initial driven by a sql query, you can enable debug to see what the actual query is. This allows you to review the sql query verify that you have configured this as expected.
