When a batch thread ends, it locks the batch control table to update the status. A job running with a large amount of threads will experience row lock contention because all threads will do the locking to update the status.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create device set up.
2. Create IMD for MC.
3. Execute D1-IMD batch involving large number of threads.
