Pipeline Sets Wrong Validity for Resource Buckets (Doc ID 2492810.1)

Symptoms

Whenever cycle forward event occurs and there is balance impact across two cycles, the balance validity is set with the older cycle details, this is set by the discounting pipeline.

 STEPS
--------

• Configure a cycle_forward discount to grant some non currency resources in pipeline;

• set the validity of non currency resource bucket to current billing cycle.

• create a cycle_forward product.

• Configure short cycle.

• enable below in cm's pin.conf

              - fm_bill calc_cycle_from_cycle_start_t 1

• restart cm.

1. Set pin_virtual_time to Jan 1 2018.

2. Create account and purchase only discount. Since no product is purchased, no charge/grant will happen.

3. Purchase the product with future start date say 20th Jan.

4. Set pin_virtual_time to Feb 1st, Run billing.

5. product will be started, charge and grant will happen, two cycle_froward events will be created.
