MCP End Of Shift Remote Message Transaction Fails (Doc ID 2496334.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 11, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management - Version 2.3.0.1.0 to 2.3.0.3.0 [Release 2.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 2.3.0.1.0 version, Mobile Communications Platform

Our MCP user logged off end of shift and didn't see his shift end on the MWM gantt chart. Upon further investigation it looks like the shift update remote message failed on MWM.
The reason seems to be that the list of not allowed service classes in the record has repeated one element and this caused MWM to reject the update.

In the remote message, as well as the MCP logs, you can see duplicate service class entries. For some reason the shift update message messed up on the service class list section.
