Symptoms

Installation of a Data Model fails with an error message ORA-00957: duplicate column name.

Changes

User made changes to the columns of a Data Model Table.

User renamed one of the columns of the Data Model Table and added back the same column with different attributes.

In Table TAB column COL was renamed to COL_OLD and column COL added back to the table.
