Last updated on JUNE 03, 2022

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 7.5.0.18.0 version, Subscription Management

While executing below flist for cancel product we are getting error saying that valid from not found. It coming in case of change package order

Reproducible steps:

1. Product with the Monthly Cycle Forward event which impacts the Currency resource 48.

2. In parallel have an Non Currency Resource 1000115 which is impacted with the refund amount while cancelling the product( proration set for the product).

3. In production : For example if the initial value of the NCR 1000115 is 5 and if you are impacting -6(refund) amount then its throwing the error reported.

The NCR is set to '0' and no error is thrown.

The proration setting for the product is based on the requirement for the product charging rules. The issue is happening in production for few change package scenarios (product cancellation) where the non-currency balance is not sufficient as compared to the cancellation refund amount.

Able to reproduce the issue with changing the non-currency balance irrespective of the product prorate configuration.
