PIN_ERR_PARTIAL Failures During Pin_collect Batches Causing Large Batches of Failed Payments (Doc ID 2524018.1)

Since deploying <Patch 28801762> to production with the associated CIT/MIT and CVV2 support customization, some 6K pin_collect batches are experiencing 1 to a dozen or more checkpoint 999 records in the batch as well as the need to recover the payments for the rest of the charges in the batch.

It took 8+ hours to recover from one batch due to a few dozen of these 999 checkpoint records.


The PIN_ERR_PARTIAL was a single temporary transaction failure that caused the entire batch to be marked failed.  The recommended action for each failed transaction(s) is to retry it.
