Oracle Argus Safety Version 8.0.1 Upgrade Questions:
Planning the Argus Upgrade for an Oracle customer from 8.0.1 to 8.2 version.
Understanding of the upgrade route is per below:
- Plan a first upgrade from 8.0.1 to 8.1 version
- Then upgrade from 8.1 to 8.2 version
This is due to the fact that there is no patch that allows to upgrade directly Argus from 8.0.1 version to 8.2 version. Is this true?
Currently in the process of preparing the Oracle Database and application server to upgrade the system.
Have read Installation guide for 8.1 which confirms that the Database version compatible is the Oracle 188.8.131.52 (32 bit).
Have read Installation guide for 8.1 that the Database version compatible is the Oracle 12c Client version 184.108.40.206 or 220.127.116.11 (64-bit only) with the latest patch set.
The customer prepared one db server with the 18.104.22.168 Oracle client version. Is it possible to run the upgrade from 8.0.1 to 8.1 on the latest DB version?
