Symptoms

Using:

Convergence 3.0.2 version

with GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 5.0.1 (build java_re-private), Java 8

When running init-config against an LDAP server with a private CA signed certificate, the LDAPS connection fails. Running with non-SSL LDAP works successfully.  Post init-config change to use LDAPS, everything works.  There is something in the init-config or the jar it loads which does not recognize the CA root.
