'Invalid Request' Error Logging into OFSAA with Weblogic and HTTP URL (Doc ID 2540992.1)

Symptoms

After installing Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT) 8.0.x with a Weblogic web server, when attempting to login for the first time, you get the error below:

Invalid request / Error while processing request

Please contact your System Administrator for more information.

Additionally, the following errors exist in the Weblogic AdminServer.log:
