Symptoms
In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Infrastructure 8.0.6 or higher, for Object Migration > Export Objects, in an environment where different Unix users own the OFSAA and web server files, the migration process fails immediately. The following error exists in the MIGRATION_<INFODOM>_OFFLINE_OBJECT_MIGRATION_20190701_1.log from /<ftpshare>/logs/<MIS Date>/<Infodom>/RUN EXECUTABLE:
[ExportImportMetadata] : ftpSharePath : /opt/ofsaa/ftpshare/
[ExportImportMetadata] : Properties File Path: /opt/ofsaa/ftpshare/ObjectMigration/conf/migration.properties
[ExportImportMetadata] : Error in loading properties file /opt/ofsaa/ftpshare/ObjectMigration/conf/migration.properties (No such file or directory)
[ExportImportMetadata] : Migration Property File Not Found /opt/ofsaa/ftpshare/ObjectMigration/conf/migration.properties (No such file or directory)
The following messages exist in the FUSIONSUBSYSTEMSService.log from the web server's OFSAA log directory:
[01-07-19 17:12:25,125 GMT PM] [INFO ] [WEB] [AMHM] [NA] [MIGRATIONSERVICEPROVIDER] Inside save generated csv
[01-07-19 17:12:25,127 GMT PM] [INFO ] [WEB] [AMHM] [NA] [MIGRATIONSERVICEPROVIDER] Web Local path is : /opt/tomcat/ofsaa
[01-07-19 17:12:25,138 GMT PM] [DEBUG] [WEB] [AMHM] [NA] [MIGRATIONSERVICEPROVIDER] Temporary File path where File is saved in webserver::/opt/tomcat/ofsaa/ObjectMigration/conf
[01-07-19 17:12:25,141 GMT PM] [INFO ] [WEB] [AMHM] [NA] [MIGRATIONSERVICEPROVIDER] migration.properties transferred
[01-07-19 17:12:25,155 GMT PM] [INFO ] [WEB] [AMHM] [NA] [MIGRATIONSERVICEPROVIDER] export_input.csvtransferred
Note that, in this environment, the following setup exists:
Web Local path is : /opt/tomcat/ofsaa
ftpSharePath : /opt/ofsaa/ftpshare/
The separate paths were created because two different Unix users own the web server and OFSAA files.
