The ACS Numbers Screen Doesn't Come Up After Loading CLIs (Doc ID 2576261.1)

Last updated on MARCH 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 6.0.0 to 12.0.2.0.0 [Release 6.0 to 12.0.0]
Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 to 12.0.2.0.0 [Release 4.3 to 12.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C) up to and including 12.0.2.0, after importing a high number of Calling Line Identification (CLI) numbers, the Advanced Control Services (ACS) Numbers screen will no longer load or take a unacceptable long time to load.

The Provisioning Interface (PI) can be used to import CLIs and bypasses the need to manually create each CLI via the screens.  This allows for the relatively handsfree creation of CLIs.

As a result, both the ACS Service Numbers and ACS CLI Numbers screens can no longer be used.

This issue is more noticable over low bandwidth networks.

The ACS CLI functionality allows for Control Plan (CP) selection based on the calling party's number.  Please refer to the ACS User/Technical Guides for more information.
