Symptoms

The filesystem '/dev/shm', used for the scratch_directory of Oracle Communications Instant Messaging (OCIM) Back-End Servers, grows without control and old files do not get deleted.

Being defined as the 'scratch_directory', all of the files located under '/dev/shm/imscratch/server' directory are binary files.
