Purpose

This document provides information on how to start the MetaSolv Solution client application in debug mode.

NOTE: This feature should ONLY be used under the direction of Oracle Support for the purposes of troubleshooting a problem reported in a Service Request. Application performance is severely degraded when running in debug mode due to the amount of logging output. This can produce very large file sizes depending on how much navigation in the application is required to capture the necessary debug information for analysis. For reference, the output file size from launching the application in debug mode to displaying the logon window is ~ 178kb.
