Symptoms

On : 12.2.8 version, DM-Gen

Rolling Profiles job is failing.

Execute profiles job is failing after upgrading Demantra to 12.2.8 from 12.2.4.


ERROR

EXECUTE_PROFILES.ROLLING_UPDATES
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
"-20000 ORA-20000: There was an error - See DB_EXCEPTION_LOG for details. Error in PROCEDURE line 2859

  dynamic_ddl( 'BEGIN ROLLING_UPDATES_64; END;')"


Even if they run the profile one at a time, the issue exists

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upgrade to 12.2.8
2. Execute rolling profile

Due to this issue, users cannot archive forecasts
