OFSAAI 8.0.6.1 Install Fails with ORA-12154 When Using Failover JDBC Connection String (Doc ID 2595836.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to install the OFSAAI 8.0.6.1 maintenance release by running OFSAAIUpgrade.sh, the install fails during the Env Check utility with the error below:

DB specific Validation Started ...
ERROR -> ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
DB specific Validation Completed. Status : FAIL

In this case, the environment is configured for failover and the DEFAULT_CONNECTION_URL in the DynamicServices.xml has the format below:

<PARAMETER NAME="DEFAULT_CONNECTION_URL" VALUE="jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(FAILOVER=ON)(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=<SERVICE NAME>)))"/>
