Goal

https://docs.oracle.com/communications/F15020_01/doc.803/f15150.pdf "Transaction logging MTA options: log_transactionlog" states..

"Setting bit 0 (value 1) causes the transactionlog string to be logged at the very end of enqueue ("E") records."

Just a quick example to demonstrate what we are talking about...

With a simple sieve filter (below) called as a destinationfilter on a channel, e.g.

A "J" record is correctly logged but no "tl" attribute appears:

This is as documented and expected as it is not an 'enqueue ("E") record'.

However, our question is whether there is any way for sieve to be able to include a string in the MTA message transaction log file in the case of a failed/rejected enqueue such as this?
