acsMacroNodeInstaller Fails to Parse Node Definition Files in SDK NCC 12.0.2 (Doc ID 2621556.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 20, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 12.0.2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On the new version of NCC 12.0.2, the acsMacroNodeInstaller in SDK does not parse macro node definition files.
This tool was working fine in the previous NCC 6.0.1 version.

The following command was used with this tool:
./acsMacroNodeInstaller -install -D -v sdkMacroNodes.xml

Note that the directory must contain:
acsMacroNodeInstaller - macro node installer binary
nodeschema.dtd - schema for macro node definition, supplied with the SDK (bin/nodeschema.dtd)
sdkMacroNodes.xml - macro node definition file, supplied with the SDK as previously indicated
