Error Editing UDA Flex Field - "Enter A Valid UDA Text" (Doc ID 2628894.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to edit an UDA (User Defined Attribute) with DISPLAY_TYPE = 'FF' and one completely erases the value of the UDA before writing the new value the following error occurs:


The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Search an Item.
  2. More Actions -> User Defined Attributes.
  3. Completely erase the text of a Free Form Text UDA.
  4. Click anywhere on screen and see the error rises, blocking from any other action.
