JCA Adapter Throws "ERR_NAP_CONNECT_FAILED" and CM Throws "bad login attempt"

Goal
After a fresh deployment of JCA (J2EE Connector Architecture) adapter from BRM (Billing and Revenue Management) 12 Patch Set 2, when attempting to start the adapter, there are errors when JCA adapter is attempting to get connections to CM (Connection Manager).
JCA adapter log:
Note: In above snippet, 'machine1' is the hostname configured for the BRM server.
Scenario:
- Deployed JCA adapter in Weblogic server 12.2.1.4.0
- In BRM server, generated ozt password
- In JCA adapter configuration, provided this ozt password, JavaPcmSSL is set to true, updated SslWalletLocation field, etc
- While starting the JCA adapter, errors are obtained
