Users unable to make changes in custom R2 Message Profile (Doc ID 2636110.1)

Oracle Life Sciences Argus Interchange - Version 8.2.1 and later
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

Symptoms

Users were not able to perform any changes in the custom R2 message profile under Argus Console -> System Configuration -> Manage Profile -> Select custom R2 profile.

Users were getting following error message while updating DTD Element - MEDICINALPRODUCT of custom R2 message profile -

The following exception has occurred:
Contact your system administrator

Below exception was logged in Utilities -> Log -> View Error Log screen -

/Argus Console/ESMMapping/ManageProfile.aspxOCATOK=XXXXXXX
Relsys.Common.ExceptionLogger.BaseException: Contact your system administrator
