Time Zone Offset Reported Incorrectly After Solaris 11.4 Upgrade (Doc ID 2638299.1)

Symptoms

The time zone offset is being reported incorrectly after a Solaris 11.4 upgrade on Messaging Server 8.0.2.5.20190826 64bit (built Aug 26 2019).

Date shows the following:

$ date
Thu Nov 7 13:27:38 GMT 2019

The log files which include a timezone offset value switched from saying +00:00 (the correct value) to saying +02:00 when these servers were rebooted after an upgrade to Solaris 11.4.

This issue was verified in the provided imap log where the following two consecutive entries were displayed when the cluster was switched back to the newly patched server <host2>:

 

Changes

These Messaging Servers were upgraded to Solaris 11.4 (5.11 11.4.8.5.0 sun4v sparc sun4v).
