The Compensation Of A Sub-process With A Pivot Data Element Does Not Work As Expected (Doc ID 2640066.1)

Last updated on MARCH 31, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Order and Service Management - Version 7.4.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Issue with pivot sub process

RAC Configuration Type: Active-Active
Weblogic Deployment Type: Clustered
WebLogic Server Version and PSU (Patch Set Update): 12.2.1.3.0
OSM Version and Patch Level: 7.4.0.0.0.B1483
Actual behavior :
The Undo mode is processed for every pivot node, either if the revision deletes it or if the revision leaves it unchanged.

Expected behavior :
The unchanged pivot nodes not to be included in compensation and then, later in the flow, in Do mode, we expect the pivot to trigger only as many sub-process instances as the pivot nodes that are updated or added and not for the pivot nodes that remain unchanged.
In other words, the pivot nodes that are not updated, should not be included in compensation.
